Octopus Candelabra at Tonmo.com

I found a group of people just as happily obsessed with octopuses as I am at http://www.tonmo.com, an online community dedicated to all thing cephalopod. Naturally, I’ve registered on their forums as “EnterTheOctopus.”

I found this remarkable octopus candelabra in the community gallery posted by member Joy Williams, who said that her brother Erich Orser and his wife Rebecca made it for her a few Christmases back. Although I’m not an unskilled artist, I’m unfamiliar enough with papier mache to make this project a little too onerous to attempt. Still, I’d love to own one.
